ABOUT
GUIDO NIEUWDORP
Trained as a piano player, independent Recording and Mixing engineer Guido Nieuwdorp strives for the highest standard in sound quality. With 15+ years of professional experience he has worked with a wide variety of musicians, bands and ensembles covering many musical styles. He feels most drawn to music that has a certain amount of sensitivity, adventure and excitement, as can be found in his normal clientel of jazz, classical, world and crossover acts.
Guido graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music in the Netherlands with a Bachelor of Music degree in Art of Sound in 2002, specializing in studio recording. He took advanced classes in music theory, arranging, music production, acoustics, physics of music, ear training, recording, live sound and more. He also studied Jazz-Piano with Rob van Bavel.
